Sick Kitty.

Kitty's been sneezing and wheezing for a few days now. He gets to go to the vet this morning! Oh, joy. Cross your fingers for us that he doesn't pee all over his little carrier (and himself). Travelling with the little guy is never pleasant. It's traumatic for both him and me, and it really does take both Don and I both to take him to the vet. He's also due for two shots, so it's a multi-purpose trip.

So, if it's not one pet, it's another. Or, it is one pet AND another. Phoenix goes back to the vet on Monday to get his stitches removed. What's next? Marshmellow's anal gland ruptures again? That was a good time.

Other random things:

I once again awoke at 2 a.m. with amazingly awful heartburn. Must. Take. Zantac. Before. Bed.

We bought the crib matress last night, since Don's mom gave us the money to do so. We also bought the baby it's "first" stuffed animal - a monkey. :-) It has special meaning, because when we told Don's mom that we were pregnant, we told her we were going to be adopting a monkey. (Think about it, we adopted a deaf dog. We love animals. She really did almost believe us. But at the same time thought we were crazy.) Then we asked her if she wanted to see a picture of the monkey, and we gave her the first sonogram picture. So, we got a stuffed monkey for the kiddo, and when people ask if we know what we're having, I'll say we're having a sea monkey.
